Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, telephone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them only to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate data to operate the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited information to run the site, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor construct profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links lead to Auburn, King County, Pierce County, and Washington government portals, library collections, and outside search tools. Information entered on those services is controlled by their privacy policies, not ours. The same rule applies to sponsored search results supplied by a third-party company.
Who May Receive Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise share visitor information.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site. Server logs are kept only as long as the purposes above require. Since we offer no user accounts, Auburn People Search stores no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
Auburn People Search is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information so we can remove it.
Your Data Rights
Your place of residence may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, grants rights concerning defined consumer health data, but it is not a general right to erase ordinary public-record information. Because we hold little visitor data, we can search our contact mailbox and server logs for a request. Use the Contact page. Public records held by Auburn, King County, Pierce County, or Washington agencies remain under the relevant custodian's control.
