About Auburn People Search

Auburn records are divided among city, county, and state custodians. Because the city crosses King and Pierce Counties, deeds, court files, property rolls, and election records may sit in different systems. We built this private reference site to help readers identify the proper official portal, office counter, or library collection without treating one agency as the keeper of every record.

Why This Site Exists

No single Auburn office holds every people-related record. The City Clerk keeps municipal files, while the King County Recorder and Pierce County Auditor handle recorded documents for their respective parts of the city. Superior Court files, assessment rolls, and election records also follow the correct county. Washington agencies maintain statewide court, vital-record, licensing, and business systems. Auburn Library and regional archives add older directories and newspapers. We bring those routes and their access limits together in one reference.

What You Can Find

  • Pages by record type: public records, voter registration records, and people directories
  • Official custodians: Auburn City Clerk, county recorders, court clerks, assessors, elections offices, and vital-record agencies
  • Practical search help: ways to check a court name, trace a parcel owner, or use Auburn Library's genealogy holdings
  • Washington access rules: what is open, what remains restricted, and how chapter 42.56 RCW requests work when no online result is available

Limits on Our Role

This is a privately run reference site. We are not connected with the City of Auburn, King County, Pierce County, Washington agencies, any court, or any records custodian. Our role has firm limits:

  • We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
  • We cannot confirm whether a specific person lives in Auburn
  • We cannot remove information from government records or third-party databases
  • We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a record applies to your situation
  • We cannot promise that every portal, index, fee, or office detail remains current

Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
